Polyvinyl Films, Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of new and existing products and processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
Work with other departments to improve current processes as well as new products.
Develop and implement cost saving measures and quality control systems.
Provide assistance in production troubleshooting and process/material optimization.
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products.
Establishing safety procedures for individuals working with chemicals and materials.
Design and planning equipment layout.
Conduct tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
Evaluating the processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental safety regulations.
Estimating production costs.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
5 + years’ experience desired.
Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
Experience using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
Experience with electrical control systems for machinery.
Exceptional problem solving and technical skills.
Experience in Mechanical design, development, and testing.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
