Process Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

Polyvinyl Films, Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of new and existing products and processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Work with other departments to improve current processes as well as new products.
• Develop and implement cost saving measures and quality control systems.
• Provide assistance in production troubleshooting and process/material optimization.
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products.
• Establishing safety procedures for individuals working with chemicals and materials.
• Design and planning equipment layout.
• Conduct tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
• Evaluating the processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental safety regulations.
• Estimating production costs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• 5 + years’ experience desired.
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
• Experience using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Experience with electrical control systems for machinery.
• Project Management.
• Exceptional problem solving and technical skills.
• Experience in Mechanical design, development, and testing.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive professional attitude.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
