Frozen Banana Pops

If you’re looking for a fun alternative to summer ice cream, try these frozen banana pops. This process can get a little messy, but kids love to pick out and customize their own toppings. You can also make these as a healthy breakfast for kids (and adults!).

Ingredients

  • Bananas
  • Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Cream Cheese for spread
  • Granola, Chocolate Chips, Spinkled, or Chopped Nuts for topping

Preparations

Peel bananas and cut off the ends. Cut the bananas in halves of thirds, then carefully insert the popsicle sticks. Prepare a cookie sheet with a layer of stretch-tite wrap. Freeze for about 2 hours.

Gather your ingredients.

Spread or dip the frozen bananas in the spreads, then roll them in the toppings. We recommend a shallow bowl or plate for each topping to make this easier.

Enjoy! If they are wrapped in stretch-tite, these pops can last up to a week in your freezer.
